Information on postage and delivery (shipping)
Shipping
www.thetackleteam.com.au has the capacity to ship to countries all over the world and has done so for a long time. Shipping to any country outside of Australia will not necessarily incur a greater fee and we invite you to discuss this with one of our professionals. All standard AUS postage charges will apply. The purchaser is responsible for all costs associated with shipping, insurance, customs and any restrictions of products and the like that may exist within various countries. Please be aware that some countries will not accept rods, knives and sinkers etc via post. We offer a standard postal service to keep costs down. PLEASE NOTE: If you want your parcel sent by International Courier costs or tracking post then the cost will be much greater. We do not ship fishing rods or knives overseas or any item over 1 metre in length due to cost and potential breakages.
Please be Aware: There are times when some products are placed on back order from suppliers and we are not able to access stock. This is totally beyond our control and we will normally notify you immediately and offer a replacement or a refund on that product if we do not know when it will come in. The customer will always be kept informed as to what is happening. We don't just say it, we promise it.
Customs
Some countries customs departments take more time to process items. Normally any items we send will be in your country within 5-10 working days. LONGER DELAYS OVER HOLIDAY PERIODS ESPECIALLY CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR. Then it is up to your customs to release the items. We have no control over this. There are very few countries that we have encountered problems with. Always remember that around Christmas and Holiday Times there is a lot more volume of parcels and this slows down processing time for Customs.
Delivery Inside Australia
Postage will be automatically added through Paypal and Pay Post for Australian customers. We use Australia Post where possible however a courier service will be used to deliver any order that includes items over 1 metre in length as Australia Post no longer handles these items. Courier service are used to deliver all rods over 1 metre in length either in 1 or 2 pieces.
PLEASE NOTE: The delivery company (FOR RODS) will now charge an additional Service Fee of $7.65 and a Re-Delivery Fee of $8.25 Total: $15.90 if you ARE NOT HOME when the shipment arrives. Please ensure that you give an address where you know that someone will be there otherwise we can send it to the AAE depot and you can pick it up. (THE COMPANY IS AUSTRALIAN AIR EXPRESS)

Cost $15.95 postage & handling 1-3 cubic kg anywhere in Australia additional costs after 3 cubic kg's. This includes NO INSURANCE for any product sent. Our prices certainly will save you more than the cost of postage on most items.
If you want to purchase 1 packet of Lures or 1 spool of line
No problem. Just give us a call and we will charge you the exact postage for that. So it may be cheaper to buy the one item from us than you local store. Postage eg. for 1packet of Gulp Lures is up to $5.95 so that is all we would charge you. This makes shopping online very affordable. Dont leave your living room just purchase it off us!

We only accept payment by PAYPAL for international orders as any other form of payment carries very heavy costs in Australia. International customers will get to choose different rates of payment as per instructions on the website.
